The financial reports are now ready and posted on the website. You can view and download them from the Financial Statements page. We will not have printouts available at the meeting, so be sure to print them out and bring them along if you desire. As a reminder, if you will not be attending, please fill out a proxy statement and get it back to one of the board members before next Saturday. See the previous post for details.

The annual meeting is quickly coming upon us. If you are unable to attend, please send in your proxy statement as soon as possible. We will need them by the date of the meeting. Just an FYI. The trash dumpster is now being emptied on Friday mornings rather than Tuesday. It seems like the dumpster has been working out well for everyone. I usually check it the morning before it gets emptied and so far it seems we haven’t had any abuse. If you happen to notice anything questionable while dropping off your trash, please contact one of the board members!

Happy New Year! I hope everyone had an enjoyable holiday season.

I want to remind everyone that it is time to pay your dues for this year. I realized that the dues page on the website was incorrect as to what was due when. I fixed that this morning. Just to clarify, you need to pay the full amount of $300, or can pay $150 now and $150 by May 1st. Please use the Paypal option on the Dues page, or send a check via the mail.

Please welcome our newest property owners to the subdivision. Bill and Mickey Ward have purchased lot #10 from Carlin and Michelle Walsh. The Wards have a home in Dallas, but plan on spending a lot of time here in the mountains, including living here full time in the summer. The owner listing, phone and email listing, and the owners map have all been updated on the website and are available for download. Please help us welcome the Wards to the neighborhood!

The trash dumpster was delivered yesterday and is in place below the pond. We have someone lined up to build an enclosure. Hopefully that will be done in the next couple of weeks. They had to give us a smaller bin than originally proposed to accommodate the pickup vehicle. They will empty it every Tuesday instead of every other week as proposed for the same cost. As a reminder, the bin is for your residential trash only. Please help us monitor it for everyone’s benefit.

The fishing badges have been made and are in the mail along with a copy of the minutes from the July meeting. Please make sure that members of your family or your guests have the badge with them when using the pond. It will help us to make sure that only those that pay to stock the pond are catching our fish! Our plans are to post a new sign by the pond with the rules stated and it will be a place where you can clip the badge so it can be easily seen by anyone passing by.
