Wildland Fire Protection

Here we are in the middle of fire season in the mountains. As we discussed at last years meeting, it is only prudent for everyone to give some thought to what can be done to reduce the chances that a fire would destroy your property and your neighbors. We have posted a couple of articles to help in your preparations. They can be found on the Wildland Fire Protection page.

2013 Financial Reports Posted

The financial reports are now ready and posted on the website. You can view and download them from the Financial Statements page. We will not have printouts available at the meeting, so be sure to print them out and bring them along if you desire. As a reminder, if you will not be attending, please fill out a proxy statement and get it back to one of the board members before next Saturday. See the previous post for details.

Four Elk Creek Cleanup-Volunteers Needed!

Four Elk Creek Cleanup
Friday, July 5th
9:00 AM until ????
Meet at the pond
BBQ lunch provided

This past winter we fought to keep water flowing into our pond due to very little snow cover and weeks of freezing temperatures. It became apparent that there were many areas along Four Elk Creek that were blocked by small trees and vegetation. We cleared some of it out as we broke out ice jams, but more work is needed to insure that it has a clear path through the woods. We have scheduled a day to rent a track hoe and would appreciate help from anyone willing. We will need to use shovels, rakes, and our hands to clean up sticks and brush and move it to the slash pile.

If you can help, please contact Mike or Monte so we have an idea of what to have for lunch. Bring your own tools and gloves. Thanks!

Dues Payments for 2013

Hi everyone. Just a reminder of the new due dates for the annual dues. The total amount of $300 is due by May 1st. If you wish to make two payments, you can pay $150 on January 1st and the remainder by May 1st.

Thanks!

Vehicle Information Request

As was discussed at the annual meeting, we would like to collect vehicle information from our lot owners. This will really help us in policing the neighborhood. The Information Update Form has been updated to allow you to enter this information at the bottom. Please list the year, make, model, and color of your vehicles. You don’t need to fill in any other fields on the form if nothing has changed. A new listing will be added in the Owner section with this information in the future. Thanks!
